Edinburgh Basketball Academy

Edinburgh College offers elite basketball training programs throughout the school term and holidays by professional coaches from the US and locally, via the Edinburgh Basketball Academy.

About the Edinburgh Basketball Academy

Term programs run in eight-week blocks, held on a Thursday afternoon. An earlier session from 4-5pm focuses on upper primary students with another session from 5-6.30pm focusing on more advanced and technical skills for older Secondary school players.  Holiday clinics are also available during school holiday breaks. Throughout each session, there is a focus on personal leadership, what’s required from athletes at professional level, nutrition and physical health. You can register online for the programs online and keep up to date with program dates and times on Edinburgh College Facebook and Instagram platforms.

Competing locally and at state level

The Edinburgh Basketball Academy is preparing its players to be part of the basketball scene locally, and participate in combined school events each term. The EBA led by Coach Avi hopes to participate in tournaments at both local and state level in the Victorian College Championships and the Australian Schools Championships.
